There are a number of different service types. At present you may select from:
Answerphone - This will answer callers, play a welcome message and a voice mail message, and transfer the call to a voice mail box.
Call Diversion - This will answer callers, play a welcome message and a divert preamble, and transfer the call to a nominated telephone number.
Fax - This will receive a fax, save it into a mailbox and email to any valid email address.
Group Divert - This will answer callers, play a welcome message and a divert preamble, and transfer the call to a group of telephone numbers. The way the call is transferred within the group is determined by various options selected.
Information Line - This will automatically answer a call and play a pre-recorded item of information.
Switchboard - This provides the capabilities of a corporate office telephone switchboard without the need to buy and maintain one.
Time of Day - This attaches different services to a phone number, depending on the time and/or the day of the week.
Call Forward and Record - This will record outbound conversations. A mail box can be defined and set against the service and this specifies how the recordings will be treated once they have been made as part of the call.
Call Transfer - provides the ability for the recipient of a diverted call to transfer the caller to a different number, extension, or service.
PIN Entry - provides abilty to run a specific service on the entry of a set of digits by the caller, e.g. Extension Number, Support contract, Subscription ID, etc..
Caller Select - provides the ability to run specific servers depending on the caller's number (CLI).
Note that each of the above types of service may be run on any style of telephone number, whether Premium rate, National, Local rate, Regional or Freephone.
